Letter of Thanks

Dear Partner,

I greet you in Jesus Name.  I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for giving to our church building project.  Your seed has been planted into the field.

In Matthew 13: 3-9 talks about the parable of the sower.  It reads “…some seed fell by the way side; and the birds came and devoured them.  Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth.  But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.  And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.  But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty.  He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

We are to sow into soil that will produce a good harvest.  It is important to sow into good ground. Jesus spoke these words to teach His disciples that it is important to take the time to prepare the soil so that the ground may allow for prosperous growth.

I believe that you have sown your financial seed into good soil.

1. Iqaluit Christian Fellowship has been going through a time of preparation.  Leaders have been positioned in their rightful place and time is being spent to equip them to do what God has called them to do.  A home can only be healthy if the parents have been prepared and are healthy.  It is the same with a church.  A church is a spiritual sanctuary where people call home.  A church can only be healthy if the leaders are healthy.

2. The vision of our church is to raise up leaders.  Vision directs us – our future is in our vision.  The Lord gives us a vision but it is up to us to make the vision a reality.
